Our Action Plan represents the work done to meet our current priorities. We all know that priorities change over time and that to make real progress, we must think and act flexibly.
To underline this, we will refresh our Community Strategy every three years but will introduce new activities to our Action Plan every year. Our Action Plan evolves continuously but we hope that it will always contain enough energy and focus to bring about real improvement in our district.
We welcome support and suggestions from any individual or organisation in developing our Community Strategy and Action Plan.
If you would like to share information on what you or your organisation is doing, or have any ideas about developing priorities on this document please let us know.
MOVING FORWARD
Our Community Strategy is the tip of the iceberg. Underneath this tip is a massive body of work which is being done by all our partners – the ‘Action Plan’.
Our Action Plan is too large to print in this one document. However, it is important that we can all see exactly who is doing what and more importantly, how well we are progressing.
The Action Plan contains targets and annual milestones to measure progress. For each target there is a series of objectives and associated activities showing what will be achieved, by whom and when.
We will report progress on each objective and because the information is electronically stored and updated, you can always get in touch and find out what is happening at www.masp.info or by contacting the MASP Office.
