1. Reduce re-offending rates:
Put in place improved support and robust punitive measures for all offenders including those identified as the most prolific to reduce re-offending rates. Improve early identification and interventions for young people at risk of offending to reduce the number of first time entrants to the youth justice system.
2. More people feeling safe:
Safer Neighbourhood Teams operating effectively in all Mansfield District neighbourhoods facilitating local problem solving and improved communication and engagement at a local level leading to increased confidence of communities in partners and the partnership.
3. Reduce antisocial behaviour and criminal damage:
Build and improve a co-ordinated response by partners to tackle antisocial behaviour and reduced criminal damage to improve local peoples lives and areas where they live.
4. Reduce violence and disorder:
Reductions in violent crime and disorder through education and targeted activity including the management of the night time economy in Mansfield Town Centre.
5. Reduce domestic violence:
Increased reporting of domestic violence and improved services to victims leading to fewer people experiencing domestic violence.
6. Improve support of antisocial behaviour victims and witnesses:
Publish minimum service standards to improve the level of support for victims and witnesses resulting in more people feeling safer and giving evidence against offenders.
7. Drug and Alcohol Abuse:
Improved services to drug users and those who misuse alcohol to reduce drug and alcohol related crime. (see also Children & Young People and Healthier Mansfield sections).
