1. Smoking:
A year on year reduction in smoking in our communities.
2. Obesity:
A reduction in obesity, particularly in children, by halting the current upward trend.
3. Teenage pregnancy and Sexual Health:
A reduction in teenage pregnancy and to identify and treat the most common sexually transmitted infection – Chlamydia.
4. Accident Prevention:
A reduction in all accidents and consequently the number of associated hospital admissions and deaths. Also a continued reduction in falls amongst the elderly.
5. Psychological well-being in the work place:
A year on year increase in the number of workplaces that adopt approaches which support health and well being and reduce levels of stress.
6. Drug and Alcohol Abuse:
A reduction in harm caused by alcohol and consequently the number of associated hospital admissions cross reference. (see also Children & Young People and A Safer Mansfield sections).
